No Ports on PC working

Hi everyone,

Just had my PC redelivered after having to return it due to a CPU fan error. I'm happy to report that the fan is now working, bit it appears to have a new issue instead.

None of the ports on the pc appear to be working. Previously, before it was send away for the CPU fan, when i plugged the monitor in i was able to access the setup screen for a few seconds before the PC turned itself off, but now the monitor appears to have no signal being sent to it. Additionally, both my keyboard and mouse are not working. I've tried plugging them into every port in the machine and they don't come on. I've tried all of these with my laptop and the work fine so it's definitely an issue with the PC.

With the monitor i've plugged it into every available displayport on the graphics card and the monitor.

I'm hoping that this is something silly on my part. Any ideas?

Make sure the graphics card is properly seated & check that all internal USB connectors are plugged in properly

It seems to be that the graphics card isn't on, but there's so many cables in here that i don't really know where to start. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Thanks

Check for the CPU cable which goes into the motherboard in the top left of the motherboard, just make sure that's properly inserted by removing it and reinserting it, obviously make sure the PC is turned off at the PSU before working inside it.

Hi,
Just tried that, the cables going into the motherboard all feel secure and like they are in correctly.
I get this blue light on the graphics card when the PC is on, but none of the fans are moving, does this mean it’s working or not?
Thanks

As said, don't assume it's inserted, remove it and reinsert it. Check the PSU ports as well, make sure they're all firmly in.

Hi,
I’ve taken them both out at both ends and put them back in. I’m still getting the blue light on the graphics card, but no fans and no signal to the monitor.

Check the other inputs on the PSU, make sure they're all in properly.
I’m looking now, but because the cables are a mess it’s a bit tricky to tell what’s what.

Yeah, PSU is always a bit tricky with all the cable management back there. You don't need to know what's what or trace them at all, just make sure they're properly inserted into the PSU.

I've unplugged the ones that i've traced back from the Graphics card and plugged them back in. All the others i've pushed in as much as i can. Still no change though

Also, the cpu fan now isn’t coming on either. I’ve checked the connections at both ends too.
