No WiFi connections appearing

My PC has just randomly disconnected to my WiFi and there are no connections appearing in the bar where you normally connect to them. I tried troubleshooting and it’s saying my wifi adapter card is either experiencing driver or hardware related problems? Any way I can fix this? I’ve not changed anything on my PC it just randomly happened. I’d send a photo but file is too large.

That's not the best of wi-fi cards, can you post screenshots of both your windows update page and also device manager

Never mind lad I’ve managed to fix it but thanks. Also adding to your point even though I’ve fixed this could you possibly recommend a better WiFi card seeming as mine is a bit on the bad side ?

AX200 cards tend to be the ones that are suggested, PCS do a £18 model thats very good and includes bluetooth, you should be able to order one through your PCS account/upgrades.

The default one is a pretty old model, its out of date really and if I were honest, i'd tell you I think PCS need to scrap it and use the "18 one they do as a default.... many cards 3 or 4 times the cost of it arent as good..

Ok so.. the problem has returned. I think I’m missing the drivers for my wifi card but I’m not too sure if that’s the true. Anyone know how I can send photos without it being too large a file.

Alright that’s mate I might just do that then. Or perhaps just order an Ethernet cable. Thanks a lot though much appreciated.

You could also contact PCS and ask them to have a look, for something like this, they can remote login to check if its driver stuff.
Might also mean they can narrow down the problem and possibly offer to replace teh card (at which point I would ask to pay the extra £10 to get the AX200 one because its WiFi 6, has bluetooth and is far more reliable)
