We are using a 20011 Genesis III laptop to stream Digital Concert Hall concerts, and play downloaded Digital Theatre performances from the Internet into our Samsung SmartTV. This seems to be a more reliable method than streaming directly into the TV using just the router.
As long as I use the laptop on battery power there is no interference, but as soon as the battery runs down (after about 2 hours) and I try to use it with the mains power charger on there is intolerable buzzing and crackling interference coming through the sound system speakers. This completely ruins any performance for us.
I have the TV sound connected to the stereo music system amplifier.
Is there any way to remove this interference to the sound? Battery power only seems to last about 2 hours while streaming.
I would be very grateful for any ideas.
