noise levels of the vortex iii 17.3 ?

I'm looking for a queitish laptop I don't mind a nice wooshing sound but dont really want it too loud
as the wife will be watching tv

Can anyone answer these questions please

how loud does the vortex get under load playing games?
Is there a difference noise wise with different graphics cards in?
Are there any spec tables to compare noise levels them with other rigs?

I'm still on the fence as what system to go for

hmm under game load most laptop fans hit up to 70% speeds so you'd be expecting a bit of noise shouldn't affect someone listening to tv, I've heard noiser dvd,ps2/ps3,360s also 17" laptops most likely will have a larger fan which equals more noise
