My new PC from PCS has a PNY Nvidia RTX A2000 and the fan may be faulty or not but I'm struggling with the continuous high pitch noise that comes from it. I notified them straight away and they agreed to do a swap but its now 3 weeks and I'm being told that its out of stock and due in on 14th Dec then 21st Dec and now today they just don't know.
PCS now say they will only refund or swap it if its faulty and that if the high pitch noise is normal its just a manufacturing issue and I would be stuck with it.
My first port of call is to find out if the card is faulty but I'm reluctant to send the card back unless necessary as the PC won't work.
Has anyone got this card? It's very small and has one small fan. Do I have legal right rights under distance selling regs to just reject the card as I was unaware it would perform with such a high pitch noise. The case has 7 fans and they're all drowned out by this tiny fan. Not sure what to do, I can't put up with this noise forever that's for sure.
