Noisy PC

My desktop PC (bought from PCS a few months ago) isn't as quiet as I would like. There's a constant low level sound, like a hum. It's not the actual fan (I can hear that whirring separately and I'm not bothered about that sound) it's more like some kind of resonance.

I've notice that there is a fan operating all the time, and when I open the case everything is cool. I was expecting the PC to be very quiet as I specified the following components:

Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of this constant sound?

I've identified the source of the sound. It's a fan attached to a silver 'box' case. If I gently press on the fan it slows down and the noise disappears.

Any suggestions on what to do about this? It didn't make this noise when I first bought the pc.

Thanks for the replies. I've contacted PC Direct and they're going to take a look at the PC.
