Hello Stappa,

What are you using it for? Photos or Video editing etc or just general web, office and Video viewing? Do you need 1080 resolution or you not too bothered about that?

If you are looking to save a bit a cash and not needing to run any specific Windows stuff why not take the no OS option as you will get a 30-day trial of Win 7 or 8 which you can buy if you decide to keep it. In the meantime check out a couple of free OS. Ubuntu is very popular and easy enough to use, although Zorin (http://www.zorin-os.com/) was put together with migrating Windows users in mind. It is quite good, I am currently putting my CD collection on to a hard drive and I find it rips (with Asunder) quicker than Ubuntu, plus you have a good choice of music file formats.

You can find other distros here (http://distrowatch.com/). Wioption.th most, possibly all, you don't need to install but can run live while you look at them, although that way they are slower than and installed OS, so dual-booting may be a better
