I'm looking to build the gaming pc from a guide i found online, and I'm really just looking for advice. I'm a complete novice to any and all computer building but I've decided I want to try build my own.

OK so here is the guide.

Will this be a decent gaming pc?

Below is a list of the parts and a link to the cheapest place I've been able to find them. Literally any advice in terms of where to buy, alternative parts that would be better to use (very much on a tight budget), things I'll need to consider for actually building it, or... Well pretty much all advice would be massively appreciated.

One of my first thoughts is am I going to need a whole 1TB for the hard drive?

Also im considering opting for the Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5-3350P CPU thats also mentioned in the guide. Would that be worth the extra cost?

GPU - £90

CPU - £80

Case - £80

Hard drive - £40

Motherboard - £48

Memory - £65

Sorry, but as these forums belong to pcspecialist who sell custom-built PC's,it's not allowed to discuss self-builds or post competitor links.

Oh I see. Well my budget is around £400. No idea if thats realistic. The build I was considering uses a GTX 750 ti.
