Octane II - BSOD from SynTP.sys

Every now and then when typing away my Octane II will BSOD complaining about SynTP.sys.

I had a look on the Synaptics website but the latest driver is 19.0.19 but the driver installed by PC Specialist seems to be newer than Synaptics latest driver. I have 19.0.24 installed.

Wondered if anyone else had any trouble with this driver on the Octane II? I have searched the forum, there are some posts about it on the Defiance in 2015 but nothing recent.

It might be worth downgrading to the PCS supplied driver to see whether that helps?

Bane of my life, the Synaptics Touchpad.

They just don't seem to have been able to write a reliable Windows 10 driver! That said, I am using version 19.0.24 and it seems to be the most stable so far albeit far from perfect - two finger scrolling is still, and always has been, lamentable.

Im on a 4 year old laptop that BSOD's because of syntp on windows 10. No problems with Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. It hasn't happened for a while now though. Mine is 19.0.24.1

Add me in on that CTD (same machine, even). Updating through Windows Hardware Manager and running the CC version from the Clevo website seems to have gotten rid of the problem. That is rare though, it has only happened twice to me (and both while playing Warframe). I usually have it disabled.
