Thinking of buying the above.. Please let me know what you think.

I would have preferred the GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS INTEL® N-7265 M.2 (300Mbps, 802.11BGN) + BLUETOOTH
but it's not available as an option currently.

Thanks

Gaming and general use// internet. email.. document .. budget £1750 icl.
If it wasn't for the gaming though I'd be looking at a much lower budget.. nothing else I do really pushes a machine. :)

I would consider changing the HDD to a WD Black 7200rpm drive, they are very much quicker than standard HDDs and also a good reliable drive. The downside is they are only 750GB, don't know how much storage you want, although if more you could add a second. I have an Octane with an m2 and two WD Blacks and it works well. Also, perhaps a slightly bigger SSD, if you intend housing the OS and main games on it.

Thanks.. cost wise there is't much difference between HDD's .. is there really much improvement with the WD 7200? I read reviews which said the WD Blue was fairly quick for a 5400? I'd prefer the greater storage but not if it becomes a bottleneck on perfomance :)

Thanks

I have not used the WD Blue, although have heard it is a good drive but the Black at 7200 will be very noticeably faster plus as you have an m2 SSD there is always the option of adding a second HDD if needed. Not sure if you are aware but PCS allow you to open up the machine and work on it/add stuff without voiding the warranty, so the second HDD choice does not have to be made now.
