Octane III, does it run solely off the 1070? also is it gsync?

Phoned up PCS but didnt get much in the way of help.

Does the Octane III gcard take sole use? can i use Custom Resolution Utility to set custom refresh rates? because laptops with swappaboe graphics cant do that.

I know the last 980 laptops allowed CRU usage but dont know qbout these ones.

Also is it gsync?

Do you have a budget? The screen is Gsync compatible. 128gb seems a bit low for a primary drive and you may want to consider upgrading the warranty to Silver (cover parts for 1 year) or Gold (cover parts for 2 years)

Im fine with the specs and i have my own ssds to put in it. So the screen is gsync? sweet.
And theres no built in intel is the main question

No idea but if you didn't get an official response from PCS a bit tricky.

The octane has a desktop cpu, so on board graphics are disabled when there's a dedicated card like on a desktop, so no, there's no graphics switching. It's a desktop replacement, not a laptop.

Its just i use Custom Resolution Utility a lot to change refresh ratws for emulators like ps2 and stuff so its important i can make a flat 60hz
