Octane - touchpad wearing away

Hi

I've got an Octane laptop, think its an Octane III (P751-DMG). The touchpad is starting to wear away showing the black plastic underneath and becoming non responsive.

Have emailed PCS to see if they stock replacements but wondered if anyone else has seen this issue? Slightly disappointing quality wise - not had this happen on a Clevo laptop before. My previous P150HM touchpad is still in great condition and its several years old.

Is this a common issue?

You need to phone PCS, you'll get a much faster response.

Spoke to PCS as suggested. All sorted. New laptop top cover and keyboard en-route, should make it seem like new.

Great service.

The ability to get parts years after sale is one of the reasons I will use PCS next time!

If only Clevo used a better finish on the trackpad!

I bought a replacement battery after 3 years and a spare Wi-Fi card after 4..., pretty impressive.
