Octane VI Touchpad no longer working

Hi,

just under a year ago (May 19) i purchused a high speced Octane VI, and first and formost i've been incredibly impressed with the quality of the unit. it's taken everything i've thrown at it without fuss. however i've noticed that over time the trackpad became less and less repsonsive, and now it's outright stopped working to the point windows isn't even detecting it anymore.

i've checked that the trackpad isn't disabled with the FN+F1 function and the Clevo control centre reports it being online. everything else appears to work fine, so i'm thinking perhaps a ribbon cable has worked it's way loose?

as i purchesed the 3 year Waranty along with it i don't want to dig deeper than the allowed component upgrades, (i've since added an additional 16GB of RAM and a SATA SSD alongside the Spinning platter drive) in case of voiding this warranty. does anyone have any ideas i can try? i've already sent a message to tech support with the details.

anyone have anything i could try?

I would advise phoning PCS, emails take while and they’re quite busy atm.
