I went for something decent but relatively cheap cause I can't get something uber fancy but I wanna use this as a jumping off point when I need to upgrade in the future :)

Um... that build isnt really going to be able to be upgraded.
Trust you are pairing it with a 1080p monitor?

Completely get wanting to keep price down, but think you could of really benefited to coming to the forums before ordering.
Has the order only just gone in? you can make amendments, perhaps we can help?
If you copy the whole page, including the link at the bottom, for the spec, and what the max your spend is (say you spent 800 for example but can put another 25/50 in if its really worth it) we may be able to help you get more out of it, and get it so it has got that upgrade pathway for the future?

Plus...if budget is tight....why are you putting RGB strips n stuff in? and extra case fans?
Really think those on the forums can help out here and get the best out of your budget for you.

ok...first up, dont panic!!
You have PLENTY of time and PCS dont charge extra for changes (other than the parts cost/difference)
Go into your account, My orders and it should show your order.

There will be an "amend order" button...sometimes it wont be there until after teh order has been processed (day or two) so if it isnt there now, it will be soon.

For now, i would look at the specs page for the order, post to forum, and copy/paste the whole thing here including teh config link at the bottom. Lets see if we cant tune that order for you.

not gunna lie I do want it to look pretty too. I don't wanna go too overboard thats all with super high spec stuff. I'm willing to spend around £50 more so around £900 is my limit.

thank you for your reply though

Need to know a few basic things, first up, max budget and what that needs to include (monitor/keyboard/mouse etc) (just seen you put 900 as max budget and order includes monitor and keyboard/mouse)

What are you gonna be using it for, is this purely gaming, or just home office use..give a few details

Ok...looking at your configurator...you chose the workstation one?
It really limits your options.

Is it on finance or paid in full? You may find it better to cancel the order and put a different one in using the right configurator... they cant switch between them using the amendment options

I am doing it on finance. honestly I dunno what I'm doing and it shows. I feel like a fool now...

how would you recommend I do it?

Ok...if on finance...the difference between a 1K build, and a 900, is about £3 a month....
Also need to consider that £900 is a very, very tight budget...you cant afford RGB and fancy things (you are buying a £4 mouse for example!)
You have to focus the ENTIRE budget on function and performance.
Im really struggling to get anywhere near £900 and keep that idea of being able to upgrade and grow the machine...which completely defeats the point of a custom build and you may well be better buying off the shelf.

Even sticking to the idea of a 1K budget to give a rig that is a good base to build on, and will be able to run current titles etc for games, its tight, but i would go along these lines, its about £33 a month on finance, depending on deposit, that will lower the monthly payment (say you pay a 10% deposit)

There are things you to need to focus on, especially if its a build that you want to be able to upgrade over time, and get a proper 8 to 10 years out of it.

Motherboard - dictates what CPU and also what possible CPUs in the future you can use...a 450 wont be able to take upgrades, a 550 will take the next series of CPU and likely the one after that too meaning in 4/5 years, you can upgrade the CPU and add another couple of years to the machine in terms of it being relevant/capable.

Case...there needs to real focus on function for your budget...forget RGB, if you want fancy lights you are gonna need to be able to throw a minimum budget of £1250 really without sacrificing important function. Airflow and temp control are the most important things here, it protects everything inside the machine and means they arent going to burn out due to overheating.

WiFi card...the AX200 is excellent, outperforms cards even 5 times the price, and it comes with bluetooth...its an excellent one to have in the base build, otherwise youll end up just buying again, for the sake of £10 extra, buy right, buy once.

PSU is important, personally i'd take the 750W TMx but we have budget to think of, the one i have put is semi modular, meaning it will be FAR easier for you to deal with upgrading parts, adding in additional storage drives and its also just higher quality than what you chose. Also have to remember that upgrading (especially the GPU) will increase the power requirement, you take a 350W and as soon as you change anything, youll have to buy a new PSU to, which means rewiring the whole thing... 550W gives you some wiggle room

Now, that price can probably have a few bits trimmed off it, one of the mods @SpyderTracks @Scott or @Nursemorph are much much better at this than me, and will probably be able to tighten it up a little more for you, but i would really think about the budget carefully...if finance has signed off on £875, they will sign off on £1K and the difference to you is about £3 a month as I said.

Was really tempted to reduce the memory to 3000MHz but AMD chips really do work so much better with higher frequencies...i'd prefer to go 3600MHz but 3200MHz is a fair comprimise given the budget, however, RAM is probably the easiest thing ouit of all parts to swap about and change... if for budget you want to drop to 3000MHz for now (or even just take 8Gb and buy some more later) this would be a good way to trim some of the price off and you can add/change later.

Agree with all previous points. Best I can manage is just under £1k for something I would recommend......

Be aware that the monitor is VERY basic. You would be wanting to spend around £1200-£1300 for a good 1080p system all inclusive with bells and whistles.
