Comes up to £1218 at the moment :) Could do with some suggestions if it could bring the price down :) I want to run Battlefield 3 on ultra settings and want to be able to run games for atleast the next 2 years without doing any upgrades :)

firstly drop the HDMI cable, unless you need it to send the sound to the monitor, if you have speakers etc no need for the hdmi cable, as the IIyama models come with DVI cable.

other than that, with ya budget its a choice between a 6970 vs a 570. As 6970 is better for multi monitor set-ups, the 570 offers 3d. levels of gaming will be similar ish,

a few things to consider, with that mobo you could crossfire 6970's in the future, however, its not SLI capable, so i'd stick with the 6970. BUT note though that two 6970's would require 1050w, and two 570's (needs better mobo tho) only 850w.

have a look at this thread, you can see the 570 is slightly ahead on bf3, (note that results may differ now though, due to new drivers)

Tough call mate, 570 is slightly better than a 6970 on bf3, two requires less juice, but better mobo,

The most obvious thing to cut would be the CPU, drop it down to an i5 2500. For gaming it's pretty much even between the i5 and the i7, that is because most games don't make use of the hyperthreading that the i7 offers. So in effect you get a 0.1GHz clock speed boost which is hardly anything.

Save a couple more pounds by getting the standard 1333MHz RAM, again this wont have any effect on your gaming performance.

Then it's just a case of cramming in the biggest GPU you can afford.

Ok guys, took more advice on board and changed to GTX-570 as tom said because i might need to add another card in future so even though I need 560w according to spec check I took 750W for future proofing.

Dropped down to i5 2500 as need to save some quids and there is no difference as mentioned by mantadog..

Please see the spec below do you think it will run bf3 on ultra settings? Secondly is the case a over kill or it is good to have this one??

Oh yeah and the most important change I was reading some other forums and found out to be able to add another GPU u need SLI ready mother board? So I changed that aswell because might need to add a GPU in the future. Being not to good with computers a question for you guys, lets say after couple of years I decide to add another GPU will my previous one and the new one would then work together as one unit?

Thanks :)

can you squeeze 850w instead of a 750, just gives you that much extra juice. cehck on the configurator thingy ma jiggy how much power your spec with two 570's would need.

other than that looks a fantastic spec mate,

If you add another GPU in the future, you have to add another 570. Best to try and get the exact brand as you receive. ie two palit 570's or two gainward 570's
