My two ON THE MOVE game design work horses. I will be useing UNRAID with these over network together which seemed to work well in testing on larger rigs. Fingers Crossed it workes with laptops too! (one would assume it does.)

I appologise for the two posts. I was not planning to get two on the move game design laptops but everyone can understand the need to buy shiny things.

So, you're getting two laptops, could you let us know the uses for each and the rough budget - I'm assuming they will be used differently as they are different specs.

Note that I don't really know what UNRAID is, so I dunno whether that makes a difference or not.

No problem. UNRAID is a cool VM software that can be used to run multiple instances at the same time. an example of this is one tower running two instances of windows for two different users at the same time. With effort it can be done with a method sort of like daisy chaining, where i can use the two Laptops in tandem while on the move. Some of my worlds are getting big in UE4 and i cant carry my rig around with me everywhere. The corsair 900D is a bit heavy. The upper laptop has a price of £2,567.00 and will be the slave in UNRAID, while the second laptop will be the master due to its stronger processor. The budget for the second laptop was £3,232.00. But yeah UNRAID is truly amazing and has functionality beyond even than manual, its an impressive piece of software.
