One beep

So I got a new PC a couple of days ago and everything was running smoothly with no beeps what so ever. Today I tried installing a couple of fans to the case and I did make the mistake of plugging the power of one of the fans into the CPU_OPT pin instead of CHA_FAN pins on the motherboard. I switched it on and initially the GPU didn’t work and I got three beeps at startup . After realising the mistake and changing the pin connection for the fans the system booted up with one beep this time but I do get a display output. However, occasionally the GPU fan now switch off.

I am not sure what is going on... I hope I can get some help :)

when you say one beep is that a short beep or a long beep?

1 short beep is normal, that's the post beep to say it's successfully posted.

GPU fans will normally turn off until they reach a certain temperature, often 65c.

Even tho I suggest changing that fan curve and removing 0 RPM on them. I'm using a custom fan curve on the GPU and it's a lot cooler now :)
