Good afternoon. I'm looking for view, opinions and comments on the build below to use with Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Budget it around £1500 (not.inc monitor). Recommendations on monitors (ideally 1440p / 144mhz / 27") all welcome.

£1500 is going to be rough, given prices right now and aiming at 1440p too
I would look at a slightly better case, rather than trying to compensate with extra fans, and look at teh coolermaster lite 240 rather than any PCS one for a good AIO but still reasonably priced.
The PSU would be a warning sign for me, and I think given the budget restrictions I would have chosen a different M.2 drive.

Might be a stupid question, but im assuming MSFS 2020 needs its own powerstation to run raytracing on it at high specs? Does it use it?

If you can up your budget by around another hundred or so pounds you'll have a much better experience and be building a system that will last you a lot longer. You'll really want the 3060Ti for 1440p gaming, currently out of stock but would bring this build in at £1,612.

This'll give you a better case which will negate the need for additional fans. The CoolerMaster 240 is a more efficient cooling solution. A 450w CV PSU isn't a great choice, going for a beefier PSU which won't be running at the top end of it's capabilities (and potentially burning out) is a very wise investment. Storage tweaked so you have a fast booting M.2 for your OS and programs, and a completely separate drive for Flight Sim. Motherboard has built in faster WiFi. And a silver warranty for an extra fiver is just good sense

32GB RAM is £50 over, it does benefit MSFS2020 but its not 100% required either... you can stick under budget and add later, if you want to.
Of spend a little extra and squeeze it in.

For a good 1440p monitor you would expect to spend £300+ depending on exactly what you get.

It's not the ray-tracing that I'd considered, it was more the tensor cores you get with Nvidia that would improve the experience for Flight Sim. I'd have to do a bit more homework on the 6700XT to check...

Thanks for the replies everyone and good advice. The case suggest "LIAN LI LANCOOL II GAMING CASE" won't fit within the desk I have which is a shame as I take on board the importance of efficient cooling solutions.

From what I gather 32GB Ram is best grouped as X4 8GB sticks as opposed to two on the new Ryzen series chips. Somebody more knowledgeable may be able to clarify.
