Operating System on Which Storage drive

I've recently placed an order for a Laptop and have got 1tb m.2 SSD, I'm now thinking about also putting in a 1tb SSD but wondered which one would they put the operating system onto as it doesn't state and I cant find any information about this subject.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you post the full specs you've ordered?

Also, what's it for?

Generally speaking the OS will go on the fastest drive, if you post the full spec we can advise better

Ideally you want your OS on the fastest drive, the idea is to have a drive dedicated to the OS and key programs. Generally we recommend 500GB fast M.2 for the OS drive

The idea is to make sure this stays less than 50% full to ensure the OS runs optimally.

The second drive is for filling up with storage

Its sorted, I was given the option of which one I wanted it to go on when I placed the order.
