Optimus build advice

Hey guys!
I've put some specs up for the Optimus V 17.3" laptop and wondered if anyone got any suggestions or something they would like to comment on!
My budget was around £750 - £800 but I ended up with £808.

My main use for this laptop will be Music production, some video editing and some gaming (battlefield 3/4, Black ops 2, Crysis 3 etc)
I know that I wont be running all these games at Ultra settings, but as long as i get 1920x1080 on the games i will be happy

What about the Vortex GT in the Reviews section. £999 and with a GTX970M GPU.

sounds good but its £200 over my budget..unless you'd like to donate to a student

You sure about that figure. I get 808 without the SSR. But jumps to 876 with it.

Had it been 808 would have gone for it myself.

try removing the OS ?

with that config you will get 1080p, at lower settings but you will get it, i would go for it
