Optimus II DVD drive bay caddy.

I bought an Optimus II 17.3" laptop on 2nd July 2011, I notice now they are being advertised as being able to take a 2nd hard drive in the CD/DVD bay by use of a caddy.
Is this something that can be done on mine (I'd really like to be able to do this if possible) or has the machine chassis changed?
If so where can i get a caddy?

I reckon it'd be fine... it's just like an optical drive, but with a hole in it for a HDD, if you know what I mean... Should be fine.

I ordered mine from PCS when buying my 15" optimus II... think it was £15. It's a fenvi caddy. You can get them/other DVD bay HDD caddies online in many places though
