15.6" Optimus III Temperature

Hi there,

I recently picked up the optimus III laptop with the i3610 processor

It's 40C at boot up, it idles around 50C, when streaming online and during online activities around 58-62C, and gaming between 66 and 74Cat its highest. I was wondering if this is a safe temperature. I know laptops generally run hotter than actual PCs.

Would it be worth investing in a cooling mat?

yeah I'd certainly get a laptop cooler, i dont know how much it will help, but im sure it will.

From what I've read cooling mats will improve things by a couple of degrees...not huge, but every little helps.
