Ok a few others have been posting something similar, but I'll post my own twist on the issue...
So essentially I've been having issues with WIFI performance on this laptop, to start with I thought it was the router that was giving jip, now I'm inclined to think otherwise:
I've gone through 4 other laptops in this house and they're all giving good speeds on speedtest via wifi, so fair enough there. But this thing was doing it at a severely reduced rate, then I was having some crazy dropout issues.
To top it off after updating drivers to sort things out made it impossibly worse, essentially sometimes it would refuse to connect to the router, then it would take ages to connect to the router, but then not to the internet, then takes ages again to finally connect to the internet...
So what do you think? Buggered wifi module?
