Optimus IV output resolution to HDMI higher than 1080p and causing glitches.

Ok, so I thought I'd try out a few games on our HDMI enabled TV and wondered why at regular intervals on the screen I was missing a few horizontal lines.

Now for some strange reason the TV is enabling a 1920x1200 resolution and calls for that resolution on fullscreen games. Now the downside to this is the TV can't scale it properly and basically layers one horizontal section over another one and looks pretty bad, some games will explicitly use 1080p but for some strange reason others won't. So essentially "Eufloria" will use a 1920x1200 res at fullscreen as there is no option to determine it's screensize at fullscreen. "L.A. Noir" will correctly use 1920x1080p, but "Microsoft Flight" will output at 1920x1200 even though I've told it to use 1920x1080.

Anyone ever experienced this or even found a way of stopping it displaying at 1920x1200?

Cheers guys.
