Optimus Nebula (VI)

Had this laptop for over two weeks now and I'm very pleased with it, its the best laptop I've had so far and hoping it lasts me a few good years or more. I ended up getting the review copy of this laptop which saved me over £100 and came with extra bits I wouldn't of considered adding because of the added price. It is very fast but may get slightly hot when playing games so highly recommended to use a laptop stand and may even set the fans to max to take the heat off those CPUs.

Backlit keyboard is amazing and the keys ultra soft and responsive, has a very nice feel which is what I love. The chassis and build itself is all matte which is absolutely gorgeous but is a major finger print magnet! So if you have OCD cleanliness like me you'll find yourself cleaning the laptop every time you use it to get it looking nice and clean again. As this is the case I have ended up leaving the protective sleeve on the lid of the laptop because I'm so afraid of getting that covered with fingerprints and getting it dirty as I have enough cleaning to do as it is :p

The finger print reader is hit and miss to be honest it either works or it doesn't, I find I have to constantly clean it to get it to work.

The display is vibrant and being matte as well you have that advantage over reflections not hindering your time on the laptop, so you can easily go outside with this laptop with no problems (depending on weather ;)) Only downside to the display is maybe not being as bright as I'm normally used to even with it set to 100%.

Now my semi review about PCS: They were absolutely faultless! They didn't take very long to get this laptop built, tested and shipped at all and even now I'm still surprised at how little time it took them to send it to me. The page where you check the progress was always updated and although there wasn't any added 'extras' for me to read I don't think there really needed to be as everything went along smoothly and I never changed the order half way through. All in all PCS has been great in every regard.

I'm kind of rambling and running out of things to say about this awesome laptop so if you have any questions that I may have missed please go ahead and ask.

Sorry about the cat mate.

Someone else had issues with Heat with their GPU and when they opened up the case they found that the Pipes were covered with a sticker or something, not quite sure, i will see if i can find it and post on here for you. Maybe the Thermal compound needs to be scraped and reapplied or something blocking a fan

Here you go, might be of help:

https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...-2-full-fan-speed-on-mains-or-battery-**FIX**

That's ok and thanks will look into it :) taking the back off won't void warranty though, correct? I have run the tests I was talking about and made a post about it and folks are telling me the temps seems pretty normal. You can see the screenshot tests here:

Maybe you agree or maybe you don't would like to hear you're opinion!

Thanks dude :punk:
