Optimus Series: 13.3 spacebar becoming un-responsive

Hello,

I have had an optimus 13 for almost 2 years now and it is great, apart from one minor issue which is the space bar has suddenly becomes really unresponsive when I am typing, and to look at it, it seems to be a bit lob-sided. I tend to only use one side of the space bar but its becoming super annoying (especially as I use this laptop for programming).

I did see if the keys pop off like other laptops but they dont seem to, so is there some way I can get the space bar off and clean the connectors etc?

I think you're best advised to call (don't email) PCS about this and talk through your options with them. Keyboards are not usually hugely expensive so it might be simpler just to replace the keyboard, you could probably do that yourself too.

Its fine I watched some youtube vids and it was just I needed to go around the edge to loosen it before taking it off, its all sorted now and was easier than I thought it would be.
