I had PCS talk me through that this morning.

You need to crate a bookable USB and put these folder into the USB.

Restart your PC usually hitting F7 during boot up.

1. Then in DOS type "dir" to show that the two folders are available.
2. Updating EC first type "cd EC" this should change the folder name to EC.
3. Type "ELASH11" and it should run the update and restart.

You then need to run through the same procedure above for the BIOS

1. Then in DOS type "dir" to show that the two folders are available.
2. Updating EC first type "cd BIOS" this should change the folder name to EC.
3. Type "FLASH" and it should run the update and restart.

**WARNING**

Personally i don't like messing about with the BIOS, you can probably do a lot of damage if not used properly and again i would only be using BIOS supplied directly from PCS. I emailed PC through there contact ticket, they got back to me asking for the current BIOS details, and they then gave me a direct link to the correct and approved BIOS. With the correct software to make bootable USB too.

If it was me i would be going through that rout with your machine. You never know if a BIOS from another site has been modded for someones own purposes.

Hope this helps.

Thank you!

I have done that with the 1.03.01 firmware.

Let's see if it works correctly, if it doesn't I will email pcs and see if they can hand me their official BIOS update.
