Ordered the 17" one tail end of last week, email came through today saying it's estimated build date is the 15th.

I hope you have more patience than me, mine was only 11 working days from order to despatch but it felt like years. Well worth the wait though, I have the older version and it is great, so yours should be superb.

Haha I think it should be worth the wait, the new I5's are quad core too which is awesome. Minus O/S the whole thing only cost me just a little over £700 so I am happy not to break the bank either.

Did you post any review of your one at all?

Sorry no review, I will see if one is going to be done, I was using a little license, a friend and I both ordered about the same time, but different laptops, although both out in 11 days his was the Optimus I was just too lazy to say that in the other post. I can vouch for the machine though as have used it.

Don't worry, I found one for the Optimus VI - looks good! The guy is reasonably entertaining too. http://www.kitguru.net/laptops/leo-waldock/pcspecialist-optimus-nebula-review/

In my setup I have the following wireless AC card in my order:

GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS INTEL® AC-3160 M.2 (433Mbps, 802.11AC) + BLUETOOTH

This is not currently available to select though if doing a new order. Wonder if it's out of stock or no longer being sold? I believe that AC is the better option over B/G/N.

A good review, nice to see the pics of it open as well, looks straightforward for any upgrades. It is better Wifi, either out of stock or changing to a newer version would be my guess.

The AC wireless card is only useful if you have an AC wifi router

Sorry, wasn't very clear. By useful I meant it won't take advantage of the AC speeds, but it's backwards compatible with other routers so no need to worry :)

I also upgraded to the Killer NIC, it wasn't much more than the other ones. I agree that AC is not critical but some future proofing is good :)

ETA for me is the 19th at the moment.
