optimus viii users

Can anyone who owns the 15.6inch model tell me what kind of temperatures they are getting at idle and load for cpu and gpu with this model. Theres no much on youtube but someone with the 17inch model said temperatures were crazy high at 89c-97c for the cpu and 81c for the gpu.

Has me concerned as i was about to buy the 15.6 inch version with the 1050ti.

Note the Optimus VIII in the review is a different chassis with the GTX 1060. They're both called Optimus by PCS (it's what their mid-range gaming laptops usually get called) but the design and hardware are different.

They said that:

It was pretty good in thermal tests, too. In our toughest stress test the CPU and GPU never went beyond 82°C, and most of the laptop’s exterior surfaces became only slightly warmer. The fans were consistent and pretty quiet.

The only issue is the exhaust on the right-hand side – if you’re using a USB mouse immediately next to the vent, you might feel a little heat.
