Went with an 850w power supply incase I want to do future upgrades. I'm looking to run Warzone/BOCW at 144+ fps average and also the for the cooling to be reasonably good as well.

Looks a reasonable build. What monitor are you pairing it with though as that's a serious GPU.

The cooler isn't required, if you wanted a corsair cooler on there you really want to opt for the H100i RGB over the Hydro, it's quite noisy.
Cooling paste isn't required as the Corsair units come with premium paste pre-applied and it will be far neater than re-applying other stuff.
If you need a wireless card you want the AX200 over the standard option (not great).
Silver warranty would be my choice, it's only a fiver and covers any returns etc.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I have a 27" 144hz 1080p iiyama monitor. And I didn't realise corsair stuff comes with premium paste, I just thought it sounded good and for an extra £9 why not haha. Shouldn't be a problem though right? As for wireless cards, it was pre-chosen and I didn't change it, will be using ethernet anyway.

A 3070 is overkill for 1080p 144hz. You'll either want to downgrade the graphics card to a 3060ti, or upgrade your monitor to at least 1440p if not 1440p ultrawide to get the most out of your system.

Yeah as above, you're a mile over with the GPU. The new 3060Ti would be crazy overkill, you want to aim for around the 1660 Super for that monitor, the 2060 at a push (depending on price).

FYI, you can still make changes to your build so you can go into your order and submit changes with no issues whatsoever.

I've gone ahead and switched cooler to h115i RGB Platinum (H100i RGB was greyed out), will be a tight fit in that case but it's possible and looks really nice when done from pictures I've seen and I've removed the thermal paste option because of the pre applied thermal paste.

I will keep the 3070 as a choice as I might upgrade my monitor in the future or future games might get more demanding too, 1660 Super benchmarks don't look too good for 144hz on Warzone even on lowest settings. Thanks for the information though.

You don't need to max out 144hz to have it running well, you just want to make sure that your monitor won't be the bottle neck. From what I remember the 1660 Super manages around 100fps+ on ultra.

Turning off the FPS counter 99.99% of the population wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 100fps & 144fps..... turn off a couple of the settings and you're sitting at 120fps without even breaking sweat.

It is your money though :)

You are getting good advice.
Drop the cooler, buy the 1660 super or 2060 and put all the savings into a piggy bank ready to go towards a new monitor and GPU in a year or two. You are literally wasting money unless you get a new monitor within a few months.
It's good advice from people who know what they are talking about (not me but those above lol ).

Noted, wasn’t sure how many rungs down the proverbial GPU ladder I should advise so I started tentatively. Will note that for giving further advice in the future. 🙂

Oh that wasn't directed at you, the advice was sound. I was just suggesting the scale of how far out the 3070 was with the 3060ti itself being OTT :)
