Hey guys, yea the 16gb ram is over kill for most, but for work I sometimes have to run 3 or 4 vm at a time :) damn testing old versions of windows and internet explorer 6 bleh.

Yup, have windows 7 professional as well as linux :).

I really shouldn't but might I suggest that you buy aftermarket RAM unless if you're after Samsung memory since you're going for a whopping 16GB?

Then again, when you're spending that much, I presume it doesn't really matter.

I looked at aftermarket ram but the price difference was about £10, PCS are really fairly priced and to access the top memory you have to push out a port and remove the keyboard, Knowing my luck as I pushed the port out I'd actually poke a hole in the case :p.

Well there is actually 16 gigs that you can purchase for £40 less, but I'll leave it at that.

And yes, now that you mention it, I did open up my chassis a while back and everything inside looks so neat and fragile that I'm glad I got PCS to fit my RAM and bits and bobs; and heck, had I decided to install the wireless card myself...!!!
