Overclocking Optimus V/4700MQ, unlocking multiplier

Hi all,

I've been looking into possibly overclocking the 4700MQ in my 15.6" Optimus V. I've seen others go into Intel XTU, and were able to increase their CPU multipliers by 2 across the board with the same hardware. However my multipliers are unable to go beyond the stock settings of 34/33/32/32. Does anyone have any advice? I am fully aware of the dangers of overclocking and acknowledge its risks - as it so happens my CPU is one of the rare ones and runs reasonably cool under load :)

Thanks in advance.

As you mentioned it is not recommended to OC your CPU, no noticeable gains and you void your warranty. You may get help on how to unlock your bios from another forum like notebook review.
