ditch the wireless card and get home plugs ( homeplugs send the internet through ya house wiring, gives you constant booming connection)

also you could drop the soundcard completely, unless you have a fancy gaming headset or sound system. IF you do want a soundcard get the recon 3d version, they are newer tech! plus the x-fi was designed years ago (vista/xp time)and has been discontinued.

also no need for the hdmi cable as the Iiyama models come with a dvi cable.

i'd also get the titan fenrir instead of liquid cooling, but thats just me.

also agree with rubensolo 100%

If i were to plan on using the speakers on the Iiyama tv for the sound (is this a bad idea?) would an HD cable be needed?

HDMI cable would be needed but the inbuilt speakers (in my case) are pretty rubbish compare to a standard set of external speakers

If you mean the Iiyama monitor a DVI & audio cable, usually supplied with a monitor equipped with speakers would suffice,
but as mentioned monitor speakers are usually not all that good.
