hi so it seems my netgear dgn1000 router i got hooked up is blocking any p2p connects does anyone know how i can fix this?

Are you using a torrent client? If so what I do is tick 'Enable UPnP' in the torrent client and then log into the router and tick 'Enable UPnP'. Another way is under 'Firewall Rules' make sure that port forwarding is set up for whichever one your torrent client is using.

UPnp is on and no im trying to play games like civ 4

see i had to do the opposite with dice games and turn Upnp off to stop server timeouts.

Aside from what was mentioned above; it should work; what exactly is the problem you are getting. This might help civ iv port forwarding

i did the 13 ports for it and i can get in a game with someone for about 5sec and then it boots them out of it and if they make the game and i try and join i get timed out failed to connect to host
