PC Build - Any recommendations?

I'm pretty new to the PC game but looking to build something for Streaming and Gaming. Any help would be appreciated. Would ideally not want to go over the budget in the specification below. If there's a cheaper alternative or a really significant update then please let me know. Thanks!

Just an old Acer Nitro BG270bmiiX. What do you think I should improve?
It's 1080p 75Hz, you're rather overshooting on the GPU, there's no benefit for that monitor.

Are you able to upgrade the monitor? The system you've posted is a 1440p system.

1080p is incredibly poor by todays standards, you won't understand until you see a better panel. 144Hz is also pretty much a minimum.

We could rebalance the build and possible squeeze in a monitor with a 1440p system.

I think I will eventually upgrade the monitor but I'm thinking more long term. I want the graphics card for stream quality especially. I've made another build with a different CPU. What do we think? Is the motherboard good enough? Any help appreciated

Hi, I'm strongly considering this build but just have a few questions. I will be using the PC for streaming and gaming. Any help and/or reconfigures is greatly appreciated!

1. Is the case selection good? And are the extra case fans necessary?

2. Is the motherboard selection the best one? I've struggled to find a motherboard and am not sure which is optimal for my CPU

3. Will this PC be able to stream games comfortably?

No, I would not recommend that system. The case, CPU, motherboard, memory, power supply, cooler and sound card are all sub-optimal. Now, any build with a 3060 Ti is going to be a waste considering your monitor, but we'll go with it on the presumption that you will upgrade to 1440p before too long. Otherwise, you may as well go for something like a 2060 as you won't notice the difference on that display.

Case
LIAN LI LANCOOL 215 GAMING CASE Much better case
Processor (CPU)

Intel® Core™ i5 10-Core Processor i5-12600K (3.7GHz) 20MB Cache A generation later CPU and far, far stronger
Motherboard

ASUS® TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 (LGA1700, USB 3.2, PCIe 5.0) - ARGB Ready Good motherboard for that CPU (the Tuf B660 is ideal but out of stock)
Memory (RAM)

16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) Faster memory is more valuable than capacity
Graphics Card

8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti - HDMI, DP, LHR
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3000MB/sR | 1600MB/sW) Boot drive (I'd rather better, but budget)
1st M.2 SSD Drive

1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) Game drive (ditto)
Power Supply

CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET Strong, efficient, quiet, room for upgrades
Power Cable

1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler Strong cooling, probably overkill for that chip but that's no bad thing
Thermal Paste

STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD) Onboard sound is fine
Network Card

Thanks for the recommendation. So I guess I didn't give nearly enough emphasis to the power supply/cooling side of things. After some research I'm surprised at how well that I5 chip competes with the one in my build. I wasn't planning to go below I7. If you could cut price anywhere where would it be?

We can only work to a budget, you said your max budget was what the first system cost at £1859, this is far under that.

If your budget's changed you need to tell us the new budget. You can't just shave off pounds of a configured system, you have to fully redesign it to the budget.

My apologies, I'm just very curious to learn where the best areas would be to cut. I intend to keep this PC for at least 5 years+ so I think it's probably worth spending the extra few hundreds in order to go for the best. Let me know what you think of this build!

Ok, let's stop here, we need to know your maximum budget, and we'll build to that. So far you've given three different budgets, it's not going to work I'm afraid, you need to be clear on a budget and stick to it.

Ok ideally then let's go with max budget of £1900. Ideally if there could be a Ryzen 5800x or something equivalent that'd be great, and also a 3060ti. Everything else I'll leave to the experts.

If you want to cut money, decide whether you're going to go for an upgraded display. If you will, cut the CPU to a 12400F and maybe get a cheaper cooler. If you won't, cut the graphics card (probably to a 3060).

Any of the 12th gen Intel CPUs will probably be a little ahead of the 5800X for gaming, though again, with a 1080p 75Hz display you probably won't notice the difference between any of them. That's why the display question is really key.

Ok so you massively under-estimated the cooling & PSU..... and then the first thing you did was drop the cooling and PSU in favour of a hot CPU that requires more power? Can you see why people may get annoyed here?

You're MASSIVELY over-spending on the GPU. If you're aiming at 1080p (Full HD) there's no point in getting any more than the 2060, which will bring you nicely inside budget with the sensible build already suggested.

Changing any of the core foundation components is not going to be advised (Case/PSU/Cooling) unless you lower the cooling/power requirements.... think about it ;)

You're right, I completely understand the frustration, I'm not entirely sure what even I want quite yet which is why I'm going back and forth, so I do apologise. I promise I'm learning though!

Say I was to go with the I5 12600K, NVIDIA 3060ti and 32GB RAM, what recommendations would you give for the following:
-Motherboard
-CPU cooling
-Power Supply Unit

Thanks in advance for any advice

Yeah, the monitor is something I think I will almost certainly look to upgrade at some point, what kind of price point are we looking at for a suitable one?

If it ends up being too expensive, should I just opt for a RX 6600 instead?

£250-£300 for a suitable monitor for the 3060Ti
