Can you share details on what games you hope to play on this system, and what monitor you'll be using, as these are important factors in determing if the system is fit for purpose. But for a start, remove Bullguard from your config, no need for it and Windows Defender that comes with Windows is a better alternative.

Windows defender just as good as bullguard?
The monitor I have is HP v22e Full HD Monitor, just 60hz refresh rate nothing fancy. Im hoping to be able to play Total War: Warhammer 3 smoothly (and some older games fron a few years back), dont mind having to reduce graphics settings if necessary. Would be nice to have the option to play recent games in general.

Glad i posted! Will be removing bullguard lol.
Im hoping the ssd will give me fast loadong screen times, as total war games tend to take a while to load.

That's more of an office monitor than a gaming one, and will be a bottleneck in your system if you can't upgrade. If you don't plan on upgrading monitor, you could probably switch to a 5600G with integrated graphics and remove the dedicated GPU. About £400 cheaper for no performance loss.

Interesting... would that still be good enough to play warhammer 3? I could upgrade the monitor on down the line, after i save up a bit.

If you wanted to push the boat out, the below would get you a high end 1440p gaming rig. Notice that the only difference here is the GPU. You can upgrade this pretty much at any time you wish to take advantage of 1440p gaming. It's just a good idea to do it right once, rather than aiming to change things too soon. A monitor for a rig such as this would cost you around £300 (1440p 144hz)

Sticking with your current monitor I totally agree that the 5600G would more than likely have you covered for your modest uses.

If you mean Total War: Warhammer III, then a 5600G system is a non-starter. A 1660 Super is really as low as you can go, netting an average of 40fps at 1080p High settings. The minimum card to give you 60fps average is a 3050. Something like a 2060 will get you to 70 fps with 1% lows in the 45 territory.

With the settings down a bit it will play on the 5600G. It wouldn't be the best experience but given the card choices at the moment, and the crazy pricing, I don't really see the point in aiming at a solid 60fps 1080p gaming solution.

I would either be looking to aim for 144hz 1080p or 1440p (my preference would always be 1440p).

The pricing for 1080p just now is eye watering.

I doubt a 5600G is going to run TW: WH3 acceptably. The iGPU is more comparable to a 1030 in terms of performance. Even on TW: Troy (based on TW: ToB so a 2017 game design), a 5600G can only give you 30-40 fps at Medium in small skirmishes. In a large multi-stack battle that will collapse. Troy is light compared to TW: WH3.

CA recommend a minimum of a 900 series with 2GB but most initial feedback on TW forums is implying that a 970 or 980 4GB is needed. Their recommended GPU is a 1660 Ti with 6GB.

If the OP wants to play TW: WH3 my actual recommendation is wait 6 months for CA to sort out the mess they have delivered. Dysfunctional DX12, no FSR or DLSS support and poorly optimized. Business as usual for CA.

These ideas are interesting. The first two are outside my budget for now. Might use the integrated graphics. Also I forgot to mention I have an m.2 sata ssd (1tb) in my old machine, and im planning to use it as the secondary drive in the new machine.

1080p the integrated graphics would be playable on low, probably mostly smooth. Not ideal but good enough, and yes optimization is awfull atm and the game was released with too many bugs. Looks like a beta pre-release - I wish they had delayed release to fine tune it first.
