PC Died

A couple of days ago my computer shut down without warning whilst in use. Turning it on again and the screen stays blank, with the computer repeatedly beeping. It was one long beep followed by two short beeps which is the ASUS code for "Cannot detect any RAM installed". I tried reseating the RAM and putting in other RAM but it made no difference. I don't know what to do so I'd appreciate some help and advice.

Specs:
CPU: i7 Quad Core Processor i7-4770k (3.5GHz)
Motherboard: ASUS® Z97M-PLUS
RAM: 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X FURY
Graphics Card: 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770
PSU: CORSAIR 650W RM SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

If you've somehow got some other ram you can test with - I'd try that. Failing that I'd suggest getting in touch with PCS as it appears as though either your RAM has died or perhaps something is wrong with your motherboard.

If the Motherboard allows you to get into the BIOS you might be able to check a bit deeper - try pressing del during startup to see if it lets you in.

I agree with steaky360 and suggest you call PCS. It's more likely some sort of motherboard fault I'd think, RAM doesn't generally fail like that.
