Hello,
I'm looking to build a PC that will be capable of gaming at high/ultra settings (most likely playing at 1080p). The Witcher 3 would be an example of a game that I'd like to play at at least reasonably high settings.
I'll also be using this for Photoshop / Illustrator work and possibly some light animation work.
I'm pretty clueless and have gone for an overclocked i7 6700k mainly because it sounded shiny. I've seen a couple of posts which recommend downgrading from an i7 to accommodate a 980gtx in budget but I'm reluctant to do this as I'm coming from an i7 950 in my current rig and going for an i5 might possibly hurt photoshop performance(?)
Also I have no idea about cooling what so ever so any advice on that front would be appreciated.
(Budget is £1200).
So, what have I screwed up?
