PC for Nephew

Morning!
My brother is trying to get an entry level PC for my nephew, they literally have nothing so it will have to include a monitor.
Budget wise they're looking at around £800, I know this doesn't leave to work with so as close as possible to that is fine.
Could anyone assist so I can send this over to them? I can't believe its this time of year again already!
Regards
Kevin

Look mate gaming PC's are in more demand now than they've ever been. Prices has skyrocketed and supply cannot keep up with demand. £800 doesn't go far unfortunately

I've went with the below as the entry level. I wouldn't go for anything less than this but it's a good strong base that'll handle things like Fortnite or Minecraft admirably. If they save some money and can get a good GPU to slot into this later down the line it will be a very effective system that will offer very good performance

Unfortunately the budget just isn't there to include things like monitors, mice, keyboards, etc

Thanks for this i really appreciate it, I'll send it over and see what they think. Yes, I did think its going to be difficult for what they are paying. But they were looking at the cheap bundles you see online which are terrible, so thought its worth seeing what you wizards could come up with!
Thanks Again

Yeah definitely, the bundles you can buy look good on the surface but they never specify really important areas like the motherboard, the power supply, the speeds of the RAM etc. So you really have no idea what you're getting, they also tend to cheap on these areas which causes the computer to only last a 2-3 years before it's completely useless

At least the system above will last many years with a good GPU inserted into it

The AOC 24G2U/BK for £150 is a very solid bet. You won't make the most of it with the above build, but it will handle a graphics card upgrade in a year or so, so it's a good bet.
