PC jolting every few seconds when under load

Hello,

I just got my PC today, and when I started play a game on it for the first time I noticed that my desk was jolting every few seconds. I felt around a bit, and it was the PC making the jolts, and some further feeling lead me to the PSU as the apparent source of the jolts. I also ran a quick stress test using the graphics driver and that lead to the jolts as well, from the same place. I've contacted the company through their email, and I'm not turning on the PC until its resolved, does anyone have any extra advice for me? For reference the PSU is a Corsair 750W RMx series modular 80 plus gold. The PCspecialist estimated wattage was 474W under full load, and the calculation I did on PCPartPicker came out as about 550W (couldn't find PCspecialist own brand products there so just put in what should be higher wattage stuff) so its not that I'm overloading anything. Again, any extra advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hiya, can you post the full specs from the order page?

What do you mean by jolt? Do you mean it's making the table physically move?

To be perfectly honest, I would cancel that order and return it and get some advice.

There are so many problems with that build, it's never going to run very well. But the case is totally unsuitable for the components inside which I'm certain is contributing to vibrations.

You have 14 days to return it with no questions asked.

Ok, thank you for your honesty, I’ll definitely do that then

Which components would you most recommend changing to improve it?

Case, motherboard, RAM, drive config at the very least, but essentially it's the entire build. It's a budget platform paired with a high end GPU, never going to work.

What make and model monitor are you pairing it with and what are you using it for?

Honestly I’ve had the monitor for a bit, so I’m planning on upgrading that reasonably soon anyway to a 4K one. I’m planning on using it for gaming mostly. Would something more like the specs below be better? I’d probably get an extra 2x8gb kit of ram from Corsair a bit later on. Please let me know if there’s anything else I could improve with this

Return it and then come back for some advice on something suitable.

But to get the components you'd chosen on a suitable platform will increase the budget by a good £400 or so to get it road worthy.

But there's no point giving any advice now.

You realise a 4k gaming monitor costs around £600 for a budget option to suit that GPU?

Yeah the monitor is a work in progress idea, and may not happen for a while, if at all. I’m definitely upgrading my current one soon though, since it’s only 60hz, and I want to improve everything to match the gpu, rather than the other way around
I’m willing to wait and save for a bit longer if it means getting a system that will actually work really well. Thank you for your help, you’ll probably see me around again once I’ve got a bigger budget
