PC Randomly Shuts down then won't turn back on

Hi all, hope you are well!

My PC has randomly started shutting down with no warning, no blue screen, just complete loss of power.

Then when I press the power button it won't turn back on. If I turn off the PSU at the rear switch and then back on again, it powers back on. Sometimes just for a second before going off again. Then second time it just powers up as usual (starts with the usual single beep)

Do you think it's a PSU on its last legs or a weird Windows 10 bug?

It won't be Windows 10 as the PC would still post if it was, just wouldn't boot into Windows. I'd suggest the psu is flaky.

Yeah I reckon so too. That's annoying. It's times like this I wish I'd gone modular!

It's a relatively cheap and easy fix I guess compared to what else it could be.
