I configured this build. I have concerns as to the;

Power Supply.

I am wondering if this power supply is sufficient for this PC.

Also is this a good wireless card. Is there anything else I could upgrade.

Thank you in advance,

Catha
The configurator will tell you if anything is incompatible when you proceed on the build.

If you can post the full specs including the configuration link, then we can advise further.

What's your max budget? What's the build for?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

Thanks for the reply.

Max budget can go up another €100 or €200 if something needs to be re-balanced, and the cost can be used efficiently. The build is for personal gaming for the most part; video editing or other spec-intensive practices need not be considered.

Looking for a baseline of 1080p (1920x1080) resolution. The monitor I have has at least a refresh rate of 60hz (it can manage 60 FPS comfortably). Considering the GPU spec, I'm sure upgrading monitor to a 144hz or even 240hz in the future wouldn't be a big problem, would it?

If there are any other glaring issues, please feel free to point them out.

Kind regards,
Cathal

What's the max budget though? It's not included in the spec?

Just to confirm, the monitor is 1080p 60Hz?

Oh apologies, I thought the current price would be included in that specs page. The current valuation is: €1,185.00 inc VAT and Delivery. I'd be willing to go up another €200 on that if things need re-balancing at all.

My current monitor is capable of 1080p 60hz FPS resolution, yes. I may upgrade in the future to 144hz. The GPU I have specced currently is capable of 144hz gaming, isn't it?

When were you thinking of upgrading the monitor? There's no point speccing the build for 144Hz now if you won't be using it for a year as newer cards will be out by then and 1440p 144Hz would be the aim.

1080p is really a dead resolution for gaming, 1440p 144Hz is the norm nowadays with 4k 144Hz being high end.

Unless you have some extremely niche gaming needs, an AMD R5 3600 system would be much better value. It's a solid performer, beating out or matching Intel i5s and is far less expensive. This saves you cash for major improvements that are needed elsewhere

e.g. the PC case is very budget level and not really very good for cooling. A better PSU to allow for GPU upgrades. And a better GPU at the outset.

As above, exactly what GPU and system overall really depends on the kind of monitor you are going to buy.

But let's say you are looking at 1080p 144hz or 1440p 144hz

RX 5700 GPU should allow for either 1080p 144hz, or 1440p gaming, without being too much over or under specced for either
