pc temps

I never used it, PCS should have run plenty of test in your machine before dispatching. I'd not worry about the temps.

can it harm my pc leaving it to see how high the temps will go ?

nope, in the event of anything getting too hot, the pc would just shut down to protect itself.

Your idle temps are very good, so like rubensolo says don't worry mate and no day to day tasks will push ya cpu as hard as prime 95.

Don't forget, ambient room temps play a large part in the cooling of a PC. If the fans are sucking in hot air, the temps will be high and so on :)

The best use for Prime95 is to run Small FFT. This runs your CPU at the max it will go, and give you the highest temps. It's what i used for checking if my CPU was stable after overclocking and to see the max temps. I then ran Blend to check everything else was ok :)

Technically speaking, your CPU can go up to 105c before throttling :) (I have the same CPU)
