PC turns on, then off, then on again but no activity

Had a few days without use, with no problems before. Now whenever I start it up it powers on, then after 1 second it turns off, then 2-3 seconds later springs back to life again but is essentially a vegetable. No drive activity, no image on screen.

FIXED

Found the issue. Fault with the third RAM slot. Not sure what's caused the fault, but took the stick out and now boots without issue.
