is this a PC specialist machine, if so can you post the full spec from the orders page, if not I'm afraid we wont be able to help as this is a dedicated site for PC specialist customers, in which case try a site such as Toms hardware

In future if you can just copy and paste rather than an image.

If you go into the BIOS is it registering the primary SSD? If not then it's likely failed and you'd need a replacement.

You only ordered standard warranty which covers parts for one year so you may have to cover the cost, but PCS will clarify that in the RMA.

No need to send the whole pc back, just create the RMA for the drive itself, then they can ship a replacement next day delivery and you can fit it yourself, then you'd need to reinstall windows which is very easy.

Or you can source a drive yourself. I'd suggest a different model myself for 2 reasons, that one isn't making best use of the available speeds, and 256Gb is really too small for a primary drive these days

I have to add, you've got a very basic 1080p 144hz monitor on a high end GPU, the GPU is going to be completely bottlenecked so it's kind of pointless having spent all that money. Really needs a far better 1440p or 4k monitor to be able to make any use of the card. A 3060 would have given exactly the same performance as you're currently getting at a fraction of the cost.

Also, that cooler is not suitable for the CPU and will likely lead to early failure. The case is also going to be causing overheating on the GPU.

If you're unsure of hardware it's best to get advice. A PC is a system and like any system requires balance throughout to get optimum performance.

Hi,
Thank you for the information. I will contact PCS regarding this.
Also what specs for a cooler and case do you recommend? As I’m sure you can tell I don’t know much about computers, but would like to make sure that it will run correctly. Thanks

For the cooler, you'd need a minimum of a corsair H100i, the 12th gens run extremely hot.

For a case, you'd need something like a Corsair 5000d budget level or higher, the 3080 needs good air flow to breathe.

PCS won't do the case for you as it's an entire system rebuild, you'd need to do it yourself, I think they would upgrade the cooler, but as you'd need to rebuild it anyway, you may as well fit the cooler yourself.
