Hi, my pc has been working perfectly fine up until today. When I start it, the monitor reads that there is no signal from the pc.

There is a light on the motherboard which is blinking.
When instant it up, I get the normal 1 beep.

I've tried unplugging it and holding down the power button to see if that would helpl

What changed today then? Did you have any Windows updates yesterday? Did anything else change yesterday?

Unplug everything from the PC except the monitor, mouse and keyboard and see whether it boots then? Make sure the monitor, keyboard and mouse are properly connected.

If you have another monitor, or a TV you could HDMI connect, then try that to see whether it's the monitor that's at fault.

Can you hear the hard disks spinning up?

Open the case up and check that all cards are properly seated and that all connectors are fully home.

Others will probably have more (and better) suggestions....
