PC won't turn on; motherboard shows no sign of life.

I updated the drivers and then restarted the PC this morning. I returned 20 minutes later to find the PC lifeless and unresponsive. It refused to power on, and the light on the motherboard was off as well. I tried switching the power switch on the case on and off, but to no avail.

All the other peripherals connected to the PC, like my Xbox controller and backlights, aren't turning on either.

The monitor has power, as does all other devices connected to the same surge protector the PC's power is connected to, so I'm sure it's not a problem there.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

If it's not the fuse then it may be the PSU that's given up. It seems quite under powered for the system IMO, I would have specified it a good bit higher.
