There's an Insert Picture button on the forums. I just use that.

If it looks like this:

You just pull it out using the handle that sticks out.

We place the blankers in the ports when a dedicated GPU has been purchased with the order. We do this so no confusion will be caused for the customer when setting up the system and screens not displaying when using the onboard graphics.

Covers for things like HDMI ports should still just pull off, without too much force at all. As Gimpet says if your system has a dedicated graphics card you'd generally want to plug the monitor into that anyway.

Is this a new PC and did you get it from PCS by the way?

So the back of the PC probably looks something like (not necessarily exactly like):

The HDMI slot you photographed looks like it's part of the motherboard. However, your PC will probably have a dedicated graphics card, so you'll want to plug your monitor into that. It's the set of display outputs towards the bottom of the picture. Your graphics card may well only have 1 HDMI output, depending on the model. If you're already using that for your other monitor, you'll need to use of the other outputs. Perhaps your 2nd monitor has a DVI or displayport connection? There are also adapter cables that let you connect a graphics card's display port output to a monitor's HDMI input. These are very cheap.

Since the forums belong to PC Specialist, who build and sell custom PCs and laptops (in competition to Acer), if you need detailed advice on your Acer PC you may want to check on the Asus forums.
