This is to replace a Pcspecialist system bought in 2011.
Will mainly be used for home/office work. No gaming or video editing. Perhaps some still photo editing.
Budget less than £1000.
My current monitor is an EIZO S2110W 1680x1050. I think the refresh rate is 120Hz.
However because of it's age (2005) I may find myself needing to replace it during the life of the new machine,
so I would like to spec for a 1080p monitor.
I'm unlikely to upgrade any other components unless they break - I expect to keep the new PC for another 10 years and then replace the whole lot.

Questions:
There are three Ryzen 5 CPUs to choose from. Have I picked the most appropiate one?
Case: I couldn't decide so I picked the cheapest. I just want something functional, unobtrusive and not too noisy. Any better suggestions?
Any glaring mistakes?

That's similar to the spec I ended on a few months ago after some great advice here - my 5600G spec thread

Differences to yours :-

FRACTAL FOCUS G BLACK GAMING CASE (Window)
ASUS® PRIME B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready!
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)
CORSAIR 750W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

The case is really quiet, 16GB is a good step up from 8 and the power supply has plenty of woof for any upgrades I might do over it's hoped for lifetime and is never stressed as is.

If you shop around for your monitor you should be able to bring it in for £1000. (I picked up 2 24" for £100 each after keeping an daily eye on deals for a few weeks)
