I was wondering about the power supply, is there a particular reason to upgrade to a higher one or is it like a safeguarding/future guarding thing?

Here's a useful guide with explanation's for the components. https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/desktop-building-guide-may-2020.67892/

Up your ram speed to 3200mhz

You don't need the thermal paste or bullguard. Normal paste and windows defender are both good.

Change the pcs drive to M2 as advised already.

After reading the guide myself again it's probably worth upping the PSU to the Txm model

Everything else looks pretty good. Although one very important question, which monitor will you be using?

That’s something I’m also looking into, no idea right now but probably will be a 1080p monitor

I dropped the x from the 3600, as it might not be worth the extra money. The case I have no knowledge of, there's an RGB alternative if that's your thing?

Which games are you looking to play is the other question I forgot? Will you be using the pc for anything else at all?

Someone better than me will be able to go over the build, but that's a good start I think.

The 3300x is a good gaming chip, but out of stock till the 15th. You could save money on that and the GPU, and put it towards the next gen GPU's out in the autumn maybe

I’ll be playing games like GTA V, space engineers, satisfactory. Basically open world type games.

I might use it for some map creations (I’m at uni and use GIS for mapping projects) but shouldn’t be anything heavy.

what was the case alternative just for my curiosity?
